Parenting During The Pandemic

Updated: Oct 8, 2022

As parents we are faced with making sure our children’s basic needs are met as well as their educational needs. With the onset of COVID-19, parents were more challenged in major ways. Parent schedules were thrown off course and students were forced to learn from home. With school being closed, parents had to become teachers, tutors, and even principals laying down the rules that all their kids must follow.

Through all of this there was still a lingering question on everybody’s mind, with all of these new roles how can a parent maintain a full-time job while making sure their child's educational needs are being meet at the same time. No one had prepared parents for this complicated road ahead. Their employer had certain expectations and the school had certain expectations. How do you fulfill both and maintain your sanity at the same time? The answer to this question is life coaching. Life coaching helps individuals structure their lives around any new challenges that may seem impossible to overcome. As a life coach and transformational expert, Dr. Kay has help parents learn new ideas that involve how to implement instructional plan in partnership with their child’s school, so that the parent is less stress and the teachers are more involved with the new learning process.

Assisting with building new employability skills has also been beneficial in coaching parents on how they can navigate multiple options in the face of the pandemic. Options, which can include saving your job, preparing for a new one with better benefits, or finally pursuing your passion so that you never have to be fearful again of someone else taking another thing away from you. If this sounds like you, it’s time to give coaching with Kay a try. You’ll find that coaching the Kay Way is different from any experience you’ve ever encountered.
